lamps confirmation

Hey was wondering on the maximum number of lamps that can be on a floor in Nyzle Isle? Was doing a 61-65 run Jan 6th, and on floor 63 got stuck because we couldn't find a 6th lamp. After around 15 min one of the guys at a lamp noticed he was actually at 2 lamps in the same spot. Activated all 6 and went to 64, exited 64 with about 15 seconds left.
I checked wiki which says 3-6 lamps. Talked to GM and am currently waiting on results from investigation.

Minimum 3 (1, if it's code), maximum 5.

That's just what I've experienced in a year of Nyzul anyway. Never seen 6.

As far as I knew, it was 3-5.
Definitely never heard of 6 before, ever.
Very strange, but still doable.
A ninja change like this wouldn't really make any sense.
Nonetheless, it's possible if it was originally supposed to be 3-6.
Couldn't add too much time to a group that knows what they're doing.
Everyone agrees lamps aren't that hard when you get used to them.

As some have mentioned, as long as it's not the Single Code Lamp, i believe it's a range of 3 to Party - 1. When I've trio'd floors for Argus we've never seen over 3 lamps, but I've most definitely seen 4 lamps with 6 people and 5 lamps with 6 people. I've never seen 6 lamps before. I'm curious if anyone has ever gone with 3 people and seen 4+ lamps. I'm thinking I may have just been lucky when I trio. >_>

edit: part of me had hopes that this was some hilarious topic on Pandemonium Warden's Lamps with a link to past final fantasys mixed with some obscene remarks. : ( I was let down again.

I guess it could be that it accidentally loaded two lamps on the same spot, but I don't know how you would target the second lamp because when things are exactly on top of each other you can only target one of them.

The more likely probability is that someone just didn't hit their lamp correctly, and tried to blame it on something else.

In my experience, the maximum has always been Party - 1 (unless you're trio, in which case you'll always get 3)

This is exactly what popped in my head when I read the OP.
The guy that "noticed a 2nd lamp in the same spot" must likely messed up and is lying.

Yeah.. Lamps are cake if you know what you're doing (not with total noobs.) Pretty sure it's max 5, min 3, code 1. Probably someone wasn't paying attention, and tried to pass the blame.
