MMO + Controller

I have played very few MMO's besides FFXI (a little WOW and some Guild Wars). The one thing I have always loved about FFXI was how well it utilizes a game controller. I figured if anyone would understand what I am looking for, it would be the fans of FFXI.

I am looking for recommendations on any other MMO's that utilize game controllers well (even if it requires a 3rd party emulator). I am not anti keyboard and mouse, that is normally what I end up using in serious times. I just enjoy having a controller for the easy and relaxing times while playing any MMO.

So any suggestions and also maybe links to how one would configure the game pad (if it is not built into the game) would be much appreciated.

Most MMO's can be adapted to use w/ a controller.. For me I could only play FFXI w/ a controller & keyboard because I played the game for 2 years on the ps2/360 before moving to PC. So when i tried to re-learn the game for PC i just couldn't get the hang of the full keyboard.

But tbh, every other mmo I have played I couldn't think about using a controller to play (maybe outside of movement). And even w/ FFXI i mainly used the controller to run around and menu related stuff, but anything combat/txt related i was heavily into the keyboard. But if your a die hard controller fan, just pick a MMO and google something like "WoW controller support" and I'm sure it would pull up many diff ways to program a controller for best use

I always used the keyboard, even when I used to play on PS2. I only plugged the controller in to launch POL. It was however pretty well-implemented.

I don't think many if any MMOs really accommodate very well for a controller. You could probably map the movement and a couple basic keys to the face buttons. But most other MMOs are very keyboard and especially mouse intensive.
