    SCSI question

On a SCSI HDD drive, where are the jumpers located normally, back(by power cord), top, bottom? If anyone knows i'm just trying to see if this is something i should have known. I know where i normally have seen them on SATA and IDE drives. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Varies if the HDs have them or not, but if they do have them, it's on the back in basically the same sort of config as an IDE. Some HDs dont have them and the SCSI boards you plug the HD into take care of the work.

SCSI is outdated and not used anywhere thats not legacy.

That's what i thought myself, but of course i was proved wrong today with the jumpers being on the top of the HDD pretty much where you see the circuit boards, and of course i wasn't looking for it there either

SCSI is pretty random with its setups, I wouldnt be surprized to see them there.

SCSI may be older, but SAS is dangerously fast, and even SCSI supports faster drives then anything you'll find on a SATA-II interface.

SCSI would still be nice if it wasn't for the fact that it'll rip your wallet apart, even now for an outdated technology.
