Console & Headphones

I work a security job so during the weekend 12hr graveyard shifts i like to bring my ps3 to work with me. But only problem is i dont wanna lug my suround sound system with me. So iv been looking into buying these.
guess i should mention im not hooking my ps3 up to a normal tv, using HDMI > DVI converter to a 22inc lcd screen. So thats why im looking for headphones lol

Is this one of those things where while behind a security desk you have your ps3 cranked up to high volumes then a elite group of terrorists rappel down your room and knock you out and take over the building. Then Jack Bauer is called to kill anything moving and torture some terrorists?

Seriously though, maybe you should get one of those crappy portable bluetooth speakers. They work fine and you can also be aware if a ninja is creeping behind you to snap your neck.

It's called bluetooth stereo (A2DP) Bluetooth profile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some audio players can play music through bluetooth with the a2dp profile. Both the device and the headset must support bluetooth stereo, in which the ps3 does not support at the moment (afaik).

I personally have a set of motorola s9-hd's to listen to music via wireless from my blackberry.

I think it's kinda funny that someone working as security wants to buy headsets and bring his ps3 to work, lol.

Those PX1's would be the best. TurtleBeach makes some awesome surround sound headsets.

Nah this is where i sit in a booth(alone) from 7pm - 7am staring out the window @ nothing while stickin my thumb up my ass outa boredom. lol if any ninjas wants to come steal my pile of pine wood timber, let them have at it.

But that headset u showed is like 170 bucks <_< kinda steep..

That one is $99, and it's just a suggestion because people keep talking about bluetooth for some reason, what you actually need is something with optical or RCA inputs as I said.

Security jobs like this are nothing but a visual deterrent and someone to call 911 after something gets stolen, they're not armed nor have license to take action against aggressors without potentially being charged with assault themselves, so it's perfectly reasonable to bring your PS3 or whatever.
