Log In Problems?

I DC'd from game but my Internet connection is solid. Upon trying to log back in my game stuck on downloading data for another minute. I rebooted and relogged and it's doing the same fucking thing. Anyone else having problems today? >_>

I've been having the same problem since waaaayyyy early this morning, it seems to be only certain zones/mules for me. Lower jeuno, Port Windy, and Port Sandy.
I had no problem with one of two Jeuno mules... until I tried to move one to Lower jeuno from Upper Jeuno MH, and then I get the Time-out black downloading data screen. A while ago I was able to log one char in, but after a couple mins, enough time to run to lower jeuno AH and put 1 item up, I d/c halfway through putting up second item, and can't get the char back in yet. Dunno what is going on, most of the people I get a response from in my Main char's LS, or on my friendslist, have no clue and say to contact a GM... which prolly won't do much with my luck.

I too am having issues connecting. Ive tried to log to my mules even to see if its the zones and it isnt. On my end I get all the way past the initial loading phase, but when it pops up in the lower right hand corner, it DCs.

*edit2: I closed Windower and got back in, but I am still having issues zoning. Every time I zone, I DC. Trying to figure out what Plugin is causeing the issue. Ruled out expwatch so far*

*edit3: after more testing, seems that expwatch does seem to be the culprit. Its random as to when the kicks occur though. Ill be fine for two-three zones then Bam! DC*

Which is strange, as for me it seems to be certain zones...
Couldn't log into my chars in port windy/port Sandy/Lower Jeuno... Had no problem with my Bastok Mines/Upper Jeuno chars, but moving the Upper Jeuno mule from MH to Lower Jeuno and I'd get d/c and couldn't log back in for a while...
Shortly ago I was able to log in the 2 jeuno mules, and moved them out of Lower Jeuno... the one back to upper, and my Bazaar to Rolan...

I was in the middle of an Ilrusi assault when it happened. After about 15 min I was able to get back on fine and haven't had anything since.

So I'm not the only one this is happening too...

Not my internet either, as I'm on POL awaiting a GM request (yeah I know, they prolly won't do shit, but I've never called a GM before so just the lulz I guess.) Only happens when I log my character in. I was just about to do a BCNM40 run too, good thing it happened before so the run wouldn't be screwed over ~_~

Half my LS was R0ing like crazy in Dyna-Sandy a few hours ago and now I'm having R0 issues in SSR along with a few others in my Salvage group. -_-

I'm on PS2, so it can't be a windower problem. And when i try to log in on my laptop, it does the same thing, so it's not my PS2 acting up... really weird.

R0 for me as well. If I can get past the downloading screen while logging in, it R0's me off quick like. On mules I don't have the problem but on my main I can't seem to do anything with it. Been happening all day. Just not receiving anything from the server. Lobby server connection is fine, POL is fine. It's just ingame.

Not a Windower issue; people on all platforms are having DC issues. :/

Annnnnd of course the GM was of no use. "I'm sorry, we don't assist with technical issues. *inserts tech support information here*". I heard their tech support is pretty bad, so I don't think I"ll bother. This is something they'll probably fix with an update or something tomorrow, so meh. I'll wait.

Identical problems as OP, on multiple computers. GM said it's something a lot of people are reporting. Fucked up my salvage tonight too, both Whm and Rdm couldn't hold a connection for more than 10 minutes.

Both POL and in game GMs gave me canned responses that the servers are running perfectly fine and it must be my connection. *rolls eyes*

Sounds like ISPs are having issues connecting to SE again. This seems to happen a lot when seasons change or when there's an issue with a backbone.

I had this issue last night but it seems to have resolved itself by this morning. But it was only happening on my PC. My g/f's PS2 seemed to stay connected just fine.

I've been having the same sort of connection problems where I'll randomly r0 for a few seconds and where at times I'll dc on zone till I end up rebooting and logging back in. And that'll fix it for a while, but not for long.
