Many programs that use the internet (2 browsers firefox/chrome, utorrent, limewire) tend to stop working and aren't able to be closed even when using ctrl+alt+del and a special program I dl'd designed to close programs that aren't responding. The strange thing is that for the browser when it stops connecting/responding it can still stream/dl audio/video so it seems it is still connected to the internet and if I open a second browser up I can usually connect to the same sites until that browser stops working.
This seems to happen every few hours with the browsers and more often with utorrent and limewire.
Like I said above when these stop working I can't close them off as processes using the task manager and have to restart the computer to get them to work again. Often the restart is delayed because the computer has to find a way to close the programs before the restart.
My OS is vista x64.
Separate notes, does anyone know any peer guardian like programs that work for 64 bit, I tried to use the PG2 fix for vista but it wouldn't work.
Sometimes if I unplug and replug in my keyboard the computer won't recognize it. Are there any ways to make the computer re recognize the keyboard without having to restart. Some sort of program that simulates whatever the computer does naturally to recognize things plugged in on start up.
Should probably add that this problem is with a new computer (less than a month old) and was happening from the start.
