    MX 5000 re-connect issue

    My bosses MX 5000 Keyboard and mouse will not automatically connect when he pulls his computer out of sleep mode. He's got to do the whole retarded button pushing thing to resync his mouse and keyboard. He's on XP SP3, so I don't think it's the logitech software issue with Vista that people mentioned on the Logitech Forums. Anyone familiar with this issue?

    I have the exact same keybd/mouse, but I don't have the same problems with it. It's possible that the USB ports on the motherboard are not waking up properly when it returns from sleep mode. Only thing I can really recommend is to disable sleep mode. Let it do power saving, but just not sleep/hibernate.
