I read somewhere that people who have preordered are getting a headstart on playtime. Does anyone have a confirmation on how much time? I've read anywhere between 2 days to 1 week. I wouldnt mind getting out of the starter areas before more people join up.

Game opens 9/22, head start gets to go on 9/20. I think theres a day or two before that you can create your characters, but not play, so that you don't ahve to waste time once it launches.

No I work for GayStop, we're getting them on the 22nd according to our shipping logs that I've seen so far. What they'll most likely do is update the client that has pre-order serial codes and go from there, I don't think anyone would be able to get past lv.30 in 2 days.. well maybe with playing non-stop, WoW episode of South Park style.

I managed to take monday off since it's my b-day the week before. I just hope I can actually level some given the mass of people that will be owning the servers at 3pm that day.

I am going to request the 20th and 21st off that week, and my weekend is the 22nd and 23rd. 4 days of nonstop Aion.

Sadly, so many people have preordered the game, I don't expect the starter areas to be empty at all in these two "headstart" days

So, we'll be able to log in 2 days prior with our beta codes? That makes sense since I doubt Gamestop would only hand out copies to preorders and laugh in the face of everyone else.

On a brand new server in cb5, this one smn got to lv30 by saturday night. I'm a little confused though because I'm hearing conflicting things. Are we actually able to play within these 2 days or only create our characters?

You can play during the two days. However, you can choose a name/server even earlier than that.

Being able to reverse your person's name and looks before the headstart is great but can you only do one character?
