mouse/keyboard combo for gaming

I've never bought a mouse or keyboard that was specifically designed for gamers, any out there worth paying the extra cash for?

I use a Logitech G5 mouse. It's a decent gaming mouse. No idea about a keyboard though, Sorry.

I've got a Logitech G5 mouse and a G15 keyboard. Seems to be the standard combo for gaming I guess. Although I hear Razer is really good too. Also Icemats are sexy.

the only real reason i like my razor is because it has extra buttons than a typical mouse/keyboard and it has the ability to change profiles with the press of a button, which is particularly nice for switching from an fps * or something to photoshop where I want a lower sensitivity. Being able to do that on the keyboard is kinda fun for fucking with people and making them unable to use your keyboard. I have a keyboard profile that changes all the keys to a, and that prevent my old roommate's friend from saying profanities in white gate once.

G9/G15.

G5 is olde people. I'm already on my second G9 (went through two or three G5's, a Copperhead, Microsoft mice, etc)

Fox eat mice anyways... but that's not how mine wore out. I need a new pad too, as the center is noticeably more worn then the edges.

The G9 is wide grip is better than the G5. You have to use both to know though. The G5 isn't bad, just outdated and the G9 can be had for $20-50 depending if you jump on a rebate or not. This one was $55 shipped overnight from amazon.

I don't see how that could be more comfortable. I bearclaw a mouse when I'm not gaming, but feather-touch it when I am. Either way the G5 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used by a large margin.

Also G15/G5 here.
