    Need help getting gPSP (GBA emulator for PSP) to work on latest custom firmware

    I got all the files, and stuff, but when starting the emulator it comes up with "game could not be started"

    I followed some help on setting the kernel to 1.50, etc, nothing works. Got the bios OK though I believe.

    The version I'm trying/using is the 0.9 "official" one (from 2006?!)

    I got an urge to play some GBA games so...

    Anyone able to offer any help/advice/a site or link with a GOOD tutorial? Everything is so messy and so many people have problems.

    *not willing to downgrade
    *if it doesn't work after a day or 2, screw it

    Do you have Custom Firmware or Original Firmware? I don't think emulators work on Original Firmware.

    you running your psp in 1.5 kernel mode?

    Yep, tried that (via the recovery menu).
