Bugged Quests

Thought about starting this thread so people can see if the quest they have is bugged so they don't waste 2 hours looking for an NPC that fell through the floor or whatnot.

seems to be bugged atm, only 1 person after server reset can use the stone, after it becomes unusable

Not really a quest, but my legion killed the suspicious box and the person winning lot on a dagger d/ced, and it glitched it so that nobody could get the item and the box wouldn't respawn.

That is bad luck with some mechanics they need to fix and its something you can't avoid, unlike quests.

I haven't really run into any quests that are thoroughly "bugged", I'm not sure that requirement will meet with much results. I have had several quests where the directions or mob names weren't consistant with the games quest info however.

For example, the Elyso Eltnen quest A Gust Rising in the Underground Temple tells you to kill "Wind Rake Spirits" but the mobs are actually named "Draft Spirits".

I have had the same thing, a quest I did said to kill starving worgs and the one that gave me credit was hungry worgs :/

Also I've attempted to get a tarnished ring to drop from red-tipped sheluks for the Bearer of Bad News quest and I'm something like 0/200. Can't say if it's a bug but christ. Probably skipping it like the Fork Ear Rokes nm camping b.s.

Impressing Letum requires that you kill 12 mobs, not 7.

Lv.31 Amethyst Caltrops practically do not drop the quest item for Deformed Malek, you need to kill Lv.32 mobs.

Would this thread be a good place to list quests that say "Kill XYZ mob" yet the mob's real name is "ZYX"?

Also, some quests say kill "XYZ" mob, yet only certain "XYZ" mobs give credit. IE, the Vicious Worgs in verteron don't all give credit for that quest. One in heiron to kill Sobbing banshees is the same. You have to kill certain ones.

Yes, anything with a quest that isn't working 100% perfect I would say so.

Lv24(?) The Spice Must Flow - The quest skips a part where you talk to the shugo, then take the lunchbox to Themis(sp?). The quest appears to show you have already taken the lunchbox to Themis and doesn't prompt you to locate him and do it.

I got this ring and it was not off a sheluk, it was from one of the mobs involved in other quests in the area. Sorry I can't remember which it was but it came from the same area that Demokritos is in.

One thing Elyos newbies get is a quest to kill Tursin Outlaws in Poeta and there are two types with this name, only the ones with a black hood on their head count as kills.

Quest from Alsig says to kill 7 triploids...its actually 12.

I'm not sure if this constitutes as a bug, but I figure I'd post it here any way to save people some real grief.

[Elyos] Balaur Conspiracy (Required Level 35)

This quest takes you to a 4 minute BCNM-like fight. The short gist of it: Don't die.

For this quest, if you are dead at the time the fight ends, you will not receive credit for it, and your party cannot re-enter to help you because their quest logs will have updated. You'll end up having to find a complete new group to go with.

Is this the final Eltnen campaign? The Morheim one is exactly the same, since I have to find a whole new group after dieing 10 seconds before the timer for the mission ended.

Elyos Heiron quest Stench on the Road:
info tells you to kill 5 Ruined Soil Spirits but really requires 6.

I didnt have much time to see what new camps there were to pick up some new quests for level 40.

I only checked South Beluslan flight path destination to get some.
Are there more? Is there any camps to check on Brusthonin?

I havent looked into Morheim ...I do have plenty of Mistmane quests. Group quests though.

This has been fixed, you now have to kill 3 Tursin Big Boss
