I did a search but i couldn't really find what I was looking for.

For the last 2-3 days I have been regularly getting disconnected from the game, my sending and receiving are normal and i don't have any lag, I just get the red dot while I can still see things happening in the game and shortly after I get disconnected with a FFXI-4002 Error saying "'Time out reported by the Final Fantasy XI server. Press OK to shut down" and seems to be random because i can sometimes happen 6 times an hour, or once in 5 hours.

I use a Linksys router hardwired to my laptop which I think may be the problem but I have no idea how to fix it or whether I should just buy a new router, any information would be appreciated :D
