    Another Example of SE's Excellent Customer Service

    Maybe I'm just retarded and missing something, but the site has now been relegated to e-mail support only. The form to get email support requires you post your inquiry.. but has no field to do so in.

    The e-mail support form won't let me submit a request without posting an inquiry, but has no place to post one.. apparently they fucked up their site when they remade it. What's hard to understand?

    SE? Fail support? LS member recently got a 3 day ban because SE approved his credit card refund so he could add a separate credit card onto his account. He was banned for unauthorized charge back. Orz

    I was able to get to email support with a form to fill out etc. It was what I thought.

    If you provide a question that the site thinks they understand but you tell them none of the answers work, they will send you to phone support. (E.g., my 1-time password does not work or my graphic display is too large.)

    If the question is extreme enough, you will get email support. (e.g., Try: Technical Support as the contact category and Other as the sub-category, contact details as "I can't cast spells.")

    And I know I don't know your firefox settings, but I have the original one with some advised added forbids (iframe, frame, etc.) Maybe you have more conservative settings?

    Too late....

    was gonna post inb4 the "I hate SE customer service" posters start posting how someone they know had a problem with customer service.

    Would be nice if people would try to solve or understand the issue before band-wagoning a shit fest.

    Hm, nah.. It's SE's fault. Even when it's not, they're probably pulling the strings somewhere.

    I'm using firefox, but I have the site allowed on noscript and checked all other security things on my system. I'm not exactly computer-dumb, but I can't figure out what the problem is.

    Have tried. I even tried going on the page on my non-ff laptop with internet explorer and nothing else on it really(it's a fresh format, i don't use it for anything important).

    That's what I'm going to do when they reopen tomorrow, just irritating that their page is screwed up like that when the old support system online worked fine.

    It only gives you the webchat and phone options when the phone center and web chat are open, and if the issue category warrents immediate resolution.
