WTF! 14 day free ffxi trial

I have been trying to download FFXI 14 day trial all day. I swear to god SE is so fucking terrible at this shit. They don't give ANY instructions at all in downloading it. I never had this much trouble with ffxi. If anyone knows where the instructions for DLding this shit is please help me.

I know where to download it, I'm talking about the steps in downloading it. I got to POL reg and put in the code they give me and it says it doesnt work. I suck with downloading files and opening them, if anyone can help on IM I'd appreciate it.

Just to make you feel better, I got a new computer over the weekend and downloaded the trial to see how it'd look/run on the new computer.

I got everything installed and got to the registration part of POL, where it asked for the ~20 digit registration code... but I was never supplied a code. Finally gave up and unistalled.

Much appreciated, but more than anything, I was just wondering what the hell I was missing. There was no mention of needing a reigstration code for the free trial, up to the point where I'd updated POL and it was asking me for the registration code.

Well I called playonline and they told me the reg code they sent me was a EU code and I downloaded the US POL. And now I cannot get a us code sent to me. If anyone can have a US code sent to there email and give to me I'd appreciate it. POL said a friend has to do it, because they don't give out a second code to the same person.

Yes Karshe I did the same, I'm like where the hell do I get it. The guy told me because I googled FFXI 14day reg code, that it gave me a EU one. So then he tells me to uninstall ffxi/pol and download the EU version, but on fileplanet it only lets me install the US version.
