by the way, if you have never used web of science for looking up sources, check it out if your university offers it as a database
it's very convenient for looking forward and backwards through research because it has a very nice way of outlining references and citations

I have never heard of web of science before, I don't know what my university uses but only like half of the sources that show up can be accessed.

there are 3 sources that deal directly with it but I cant access. I only really have 3 real solid ones and a bunch of fluff

basically the prof is the major non russian expert in the stuff so all the good stuff is his and I can only get 2/4 papers from him and he hasn't answered an email to send me 2 of his papers that I don't have

i had to visit the stacks in the veterinary medicine building across campus to get some old bound journal from 1920 one time
it was probably the most horrible research-based experience i've ever had
