Best program for streaming to xbox 360

So ive been using ps3 media server for a while but im getting tired of the jerky picture quality that i get for some movies. Is there a better program out there that i should look at or anything to get ps3ms working better?

ps3 media server is the best and the jerky video quality isn't because of the application. It's a bottleneck in your network somewhere. Check your cables and your switch/router to make sure its 1gbps capable. Either that or use PS3MS to compress the videos a bit more so they're not taking up as much bandwidth on the network.

Also, I hope you're doing this wired, and not wireless. Wired will be janky as hell for streaming anything above 576p.

Nah its def wired. But thanks I completely forgot that I have a shitty router. I didnt know transfer speeds included wired tho 0.o

transfer speeds can even be limited by cable. Some forms of cat5 can only do 100mbps while others can be 1gbps. Routers are the same way

Processor speed is important here too, you're transcoding on the fly. You should have a dual core (at least), or better yet, a quad.
