    Changing Partitions

    Hey.

So, I have a need to re-adjust my partitions; unfortunately, I've never done this before personally (I've had work done on my comp by someone else).

I've heard it isn't too difficult to do, but can anyone recommend a solid program (Windows OS)? Is there any way to minimize the risk of data corruption?

Note: I am doing this because I got into ff14 beta, and to even install the game requires something like 13 additional GB free on the Windows drive. Really messed up set up.

Depending on if you are increasing a partition or decreasing a partition it might not corrupt data, best bet is to backup and be prepared for failure. take a look at http://gparted.sourceforge.net/downl...bRh0Q1ZT0Cly3g for doing your partition work. You need to burn this program to cd/dvd and boot from it, make sure you know which partition is which before you do anything

I went through the same thing when trying to install beta. I used the free version from partitionwizard.com and it worked perfectly.
