Graphics Card OC Help

What I need to know though, is should I mess with the Memory Clock, and should I keep the core and shader clockes linked?

Also is the FFXIV Benchmark a good way to check the stability of an OC?

As long as it's stable, you should see gains from overclocking as a whole, so overclocking the memory will help. About linking/unlinking, however, I have no clue. I would assume there's a reason it's linked.

If it can run 15 minutes of FurMark without artifacts, I consider the graphics card stable.

Generally you will see gains and sometimes significant gains on an overclock. Generally, you are either limited in your overclock by the power consumption of your card, your power supply, or your cooling. If you start to see artifacting and your voltage isn't set to a fairly high (yet safe) level then the first thing I would do is crank the voltage up some and see how it does the next time around. Also watch your temps, don't want to get too hot.

Edit: and as Rangan said, Furmark is generally the way to test good stability. Set that to max-burn and let that baby sit for a couple hours (I generally run it for as long as I think a max game session would be). I've seen it go stable for an hour and crash awhile after that, so it's really a matter of how stable you want it to be. You can have a 15 minute "stable" but that dosen't mean you'll never crash due to your card not having enough juice.

Also, what kind of graphics card do you have? For controlling voltage MSI Afterburner (found here: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/ ) is a very good application for overclocking graphics cards.

Well I successfully got a pretty good OC on my card. I already posted the results here.

I just used Riva Tuner. I have no idea where to adjust voltage when it comes to Gcards, so it must still be at the default voltage wise.
