I'm still trying to sit through the second episode after it took me two weeks of trying to finish the first. I'm trying to really give the show a shot but at this point I'm really only trying as a way to watch the former Star Trek girl that doesn't seem to have aged a day.
I was kind of worried when it first came out because it was going to be competing with Castle, but it isn't turning out to be a real competitor in the ratings and Castle just got picked up for an addition 2 eps this season bumping the order from 22 to 24 which I am happy about(Chase was also going to be a competitor but I could tell from the ads that it was going to flop and it has).
I watch it, and it's pretty enjoyable. My only real complaint is they are barely touching the the overplot.
And by Star Trek, do you mean Jeri Ryan (7 of 9)? That was a guest spot, doubt you'll see her much, if ever again.
Also, for being a "flop" Chase did get a full season pickup.
No, I wasn't talking about boobarella from voyager, I was talking about the hot asian/Hawaiian girl from enterprise. And by Star Trek, do you mean Jeri Ryan (7 of 9)? That was a guest spot, doubt you'll see her much, if ever again.
Also, Chase IS a flop, getting a late full season pick up is more a sign of desperation than wanting to keep the show.
You mean Grace Park? She was in Battlestar Galactica, but I dont ever recall her being Star Trek
As for the overplot, totally agree. They haven't really done anything with it, let alone mention it but in one episode since the first one.
Last episode was really good I thought
oh yea, now I remember why I kept watching that one tooYou mean Grace Park? She was in Battlestar Galactica, but I dont ever recall her being Star Trek![]()
I'm still keeping up with this, and boy is it good, it really kicked into gear with episode 12 a month back.
This week has bunches of "FUCK YEAH!" moments.
Also, looking for this thread, I managed to find 2 other threads, may want to merge them with this one.

I like it.. keeps me entertained on those slow days at work.
I've always like Scott Caan
I enjoy that it makes it look like Hawaii is more dangerous that Somalia.
"Are ya gonna open the door?"
ahahahahahaha
To be fair, Steve is always the one driving, It's pretty much HIS car now.
At first I thought he's just gonna bust stuff with the golf club.
But oh man, grenade is awesome.
I'm bumping this thread, but it seems like this show doesn't have a big BG following.
Anyway, here's some news for the 5 of us who watched the first season:

Terry O'Quinn joins 'Hawaii Five-0'
by James Hibberd
Talented Lost veteran Terry O’Quinn has found his next TV gig, and he doesn’t even need to leave the Aloha State to do it.
http://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/i...-Quinn_175.jpg
O’Quinn has joined CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 in a recurring role, sources confirm (we were hoping O’Quinn would get hired to replace Laurence Fishburne on CSI, but alas… ). As TVLine reported, the actor will play a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin). The move reunites O’Quinn with his former Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim. O’Quinn starred in ABC’s pilot Hallelujah from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry that was aiming for a fall slot, but the show didn’t get picked up.
new season starts
I'm just waiting for Hurley to show up now. Good episode though i was wondering how steve was going to get out of jail and its a shame about danny.
I enjoy the show for what it is and liked last season. I wish it was a bit more serialized instead of just being an episode of the week w/ like 5 story driving episodes an entire season. So I'm hoping this season is a bit more different in that regard.
I don't really get why that one chick is working for Woefat(sp). I think they just threw that in there to be a wtf moment over it actually making sense.
Premier was pretty good and I was curious how they were gonna handle Steve and Kona(sp) getting put in jail. I'm excited that Hiro is on the show lol, can only lead to awesomeness now that he is made a regular.
I really like the locations and set pieces they use for shooting. It's a really pretty show if nothing else.. That... and I could prolly watch an episode of Steve and Danny bickering back and fourth :3
Never watched the show nor did I ever have interest, despite liking "Jin". Saw a preview for O'quinn being on and I busted my ass to watch. Cheered every time he was on screen.
Needs more Hurley and Richard with a little Emerson thrown in.
I think the reason that she's working for wo phat is because in one of the latter episodes of last season he caught upto her in a resturaunt and sort of got to her, perhaps shes working with him out of fear.
