Oh, I don't doubt that it's a great game. It's just that I have a problem where I buy games because they're (objectively) good, hoping I'd enjoy it, but then I just couldn't get into them. I have games like Dragon Age, KoToR, Witcher 1+2, and Skyrim, all of which I played for a bit, but eventually lost interest.
I stopped enjoying the exploring and open-world games sometime back (never quite figured out why), but really enjoyed the Mass Effects. Would you guys say that the new Tomb Raider are closer to Mass Effects or the ones I listed above?
Sounds like you just don't like most WRPGs, bro.
If I had to choose out of those, it's more like mass effect. But the closest game I would choose otherwise is Uncharted. The only difference being that while the game is pretty much set on a track that you go through in the storyline, you are still able to access all previous areas if you choose to do so.
Sign me up, ill buy a ps4 version.
lol. i see it. that is awesome
Next Gen Version Confirmedhttp://gematsu.com/2013/11/next-gen-...d-for-december“It’s so hard to keep a secret these days!” a Square Enix rep told IGN. “We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December.”

VGX & the Inside Gaming Awards are the only "big" events taking place next month...
This is exactly why I stopped playing GTA V about 25% in. A lot of the games released this year should clearly be on next-gen consoles.
So I went in to check my PC version of TR and the Definitive Edition stuff is new. Stuff like physics of arrows in quiver and hand axe movement and complete redesign of Laura's face. I hope this stuff finds its way to PC in a patch. Will be pretty bogus if it doesnt.
Crystal Dynamics said there are no plans to bring the changes to the PC version, which translates to SE telling them it's not worth the money for a port job that would likely take a few days of work at most.
As much as I love the looks, I'd rather they spend more money on the sequel. XD
I got this on the PS4, its really pretty, glad I picked it up because I never finished it when I got it before on the 360.
lol, xbone fucking sucks.......no surprise there.
I'm more interested in knowing if that is just a really shitty recording, or if the game actually looks that awful on console. Because goddamn. TR is so beautiful on pc, and that is just....eww.
Why anyone gives a flying fuck is beyond me. Either way it's a stable framerate, and it shouldn't matter beyond that.
Can never capture 100% quality with recordings. and it is 720p, prolly cause of xbone limitations.
Well, you can capture full quality, but it is hardly ever done.
Sure ignoring the fact that both versions are 1080p which has been stated many times over.
