They don't have the same damage formula.

tINT/tMDB => Target INT & Magic Defense Bonus
S => Staff bonus (1.10 for Fire Staff, 1.15 for Vulcan's)
A => Affinity Bonus (Magian Staves & Atma)
R => Resist
W => Weather/Day Bonus
tMDT => Target magic damage taken adjustment
D => Weaponskill damage adjustment
For Wildfire, cAGI-tINT may cap at some value (could also have some inflection point.) I've seen stuff on Studio Gobli that loosely implies that this caps at 638, can't be certain though.
Trascendancy adds 900 MAB and puts character attributes at 999. If you're talking about optimal situation then you should add 0.2 to fTP numbers from elemental belt/gorget. I'm going to disregard MAB gear since its effectiveness is essentially 1/10th of normal and I don't really know what kind of MAB gear is available for COR/WAR/BST (can easily recompute if someone wants to figure it out.)
Wildfire Atma => Atma of the Smoldering Sky/Atma of the Lone Wolf/Atma of the Burning Effigy (or maybe Griphon's Claw, but probably not)
Cloudsplitter Atma => Atma of the Lion/Atma of the Blinding Horn/Atma of the Smiting Blow
I've heard conflicting reports on the potency bonuses granted by those atma (since it seems that major can be either 30% or 40%) and I haven't really read anything about Burning Effigy, but Griphon's Claw is 20% so I'll go by that. Going to assume 30% potency for all atma. R/W/tMDT = 1.
Numbers could be different due to actual atma values and perhaps a lower cAGI-tINT cap, but it looks like Wildfire probably wins either way.Code:Weaponskill TP100 TP200 TP300 Cloudsplitter 42910 56480 67340 Wildfire 92208 92208 92208
