While making a T3 pop in chasm noticed something odd. The Es'euvhi casts Stonega III, I recover 240 HP. On dancer, was wondering if it might have been the augment samba from AF3+2. Regular atmas on GH RR AoA. no soil sachet.

What Samba were you using? Haste Samba's effect is definitely doubles damage 1-5% of the time depending how many pieces you have, and I've never absorbed HP when I wasn't expecting it. However, I'll admit I don't use Drain or Aspir Samba hardly at all (only to test them as a curiosity).

I dunno man, what gear were you wearing? I've literally never absorbed HP that I wasn't expecting, and I've been on Dancer like >50% of the time since Abyssea was dropped on us.

Does he ever nuke himself to heal? It could just be a glitch like when players get Cure cast on them by monsters. Sorry, I got lucky with him and only fought him twice.

I started a new character recently (66 RDM on Bahamut) and had a quick question regarding AF quests.

If I've started Boghertz's Vermillion Hands, do I have to finish it in order to find AF in other coffers? The RDM quest has you go to Eldieme, which sucks solo, even at 66. I'd like to still get the Tabard and Tights though, is this possible?

NO. You only need to have the AF2 quest STARTED to be able to open any coffers.

Did you have carol/barspell/any buff up where set bonus would make you absorb?

Pay close attention to the math used if you're basing your discussion on the link provided by Dooom. (In particular focus on the assumptions made both in gear and food, and compare that to support options).

no I solo all T2s, try not to waste peoples time.

Will they bill me in the beginning of July for the month of August? If I just want to play for a specific amount of time, at what point in the month do I cancel so that I get the most out of what I already paid for and not end up canceling with remaining days left of play time? Like, if I cancel before the first of July, that prevents me from being billed for August, which is what I want, but also prevents me from playing an all ready paid for July, which is what I don't want to happen.

If you cancel before July you'll only be billed for June. They only bill 1 month in advance, so if you cancel in June August isn't in question. When you reactivate you are not billed until the next billing cycle.

I would reactivate June 1st, call June 28th / whenever near the end of the month you're done to have a representative turn off account. hell you may just want to call to get it turned back on for the short time, that way the customer service reps can confirm it.
