Someone school me on how to burn PS3 games.

Moved into a new house, but my previous roommate at my old place was a fucking junkie and while I was moving he jacked half of my shit and claims to have it "tucked it away". Short of going through his shit to get it (he has a lot of shit, and I now live 2+ hours away), I just want to burn some games for the kids + myself.

Possible? I have stacks of DVDs & CDs to go through.

ps3 is a blu ray player CD's and DVD's(unless they are blu ray dvds) wont work.

Next the thing has to be hacked and if you have updated it odds are you cant do that. After that I dont even no if burned blu rays work. All iv seen are ones that play off hard drives.

Lol, but depending on the PS3's firmware you can install programs that allow you to play dl games. No online for you, tho. Check this out.

It's currently impossible to to play burned blurays. You can only play games off a hard drive (either internal, or in some cases, external), which is fine since burning disks is stupid if you don't have to. If you are past firmware 3.55, you will need to downgrade, which requires purchasing a hardware flasher ($20-50 iirc, depending on which model you have), and soldering it in. If you are at 3.55 or lower, you can simply install Kmeaw's cfw, then multiman, put your games into hdd\GAMES, and you're good to go.

PS3 hasn't been hooked up for years, so I'm sure I'm well below the upgrade limit. Thanks folks.
