CDjr set up, while Curbolicious delivered. Sadly, that match was not streamed (a major fuck up by MLG, by the way).

The added cherry on top is besides the fact that PL looked fucking free to CDjr (it was a 3-0 match and CDjr fucking mauled him, even with a Raiden counterpick), he was knocked out of Loser's at 9th place. Payout at MLG was only for top 8. PerfectLegend talked a massive load of shit for a $0 gain.

Granted I left out the part that he hopped more teams than anybody in the history of the FGC. He jumped from teams faster than Andre got dropped from them.

A big piece of the drama you left off:

He was in EMP, and Cross Counter was trying to pick him up. They told him if he dropped EMP they would buy his plane/hotel to some tourney (might have been EVO, I forgot). He told them he dropped EMP, but didn't. He just used them to get free trip/ticket. When he got back from the tourney he stuck the EMP logo right back on the front of his name a week later at a tournament.

He also talked a lot of shit about Mike/Justin in SF because at some tourney, maybe Season's Beatings?, PerfectLegend ran through all of them with his Akuma and bragged after that he beat America's best players at a game he doesn't even play (which in all fairness, he did). His Akuma is #2 in the US.

As for the EMP/CC deal, that was a part of the WSRK bit I left up there. Gootecks released the tape after that episode. But you're right, I did leave it out.

PL is a fucking scrub and a massive tier whore. All he played was Kung Lao when I payed attention to the scene.

TL;DR version, he was acting like a baked idiot on stream. Higher ups at CC caught wind of it and possibly persuaded to have him removed from current position. So he gracefully bowed out on CC but not without handing out a few fuck yous like a boss.
