    In Dynamis today, I was using Killer Instinct with Dipper Yuly against treants and funguars. However, I was eyeballing my damage and didn't notice any improvement. Granted, eyeballing can be deceptive, and my damage was random between certain values. However, I compared the lowest number I was hitting for without Killer Instinct, and the lowest number I was hitting for with Killer Instinct, and there was no difference. My lowest damage was around 80 on a particular mob, and with Killer Instinct, 80ish was still my lowest number. I should be able to expect nearly all my hits to be no lower than around 100 with Killer Instinct and AF3+2 body, right? +15% damage is 80 -> 92, then another +7.5% damage from the AF3+2 body effect and the intimidation bonus, for 92 -> 99.

    But I still saw 80-82 or so at the low end of my damage range. Any ideas why this is? And this isn't about rounding or flooring or +damage% caps, since even if you floor the percentages, and cap +damage% at +25%, I should still have seen more than 80 for my lowest damage. Even if the +intimidation rate doesn't count for the AF3+2 body bonus, I should still be seeing higher numbers even if I were naked. Also never saw a single intimidation proc (I had people in my PT who had some mobs on them), but that's probably just because decent challenges don't get intimidated for jack, anyways. Afterall, I've never had my pet intimidate anything ever before in Dynamis, but intimidation rate on anything that's not TW is nonexistent, anyways.

    Guess I need to go poke some Wild Rabbits with Flowerpot Bill later...

    for the gobbie mystery box, do i have to interact with the goblin each day to recieve my 10 pts/day?

    AFAIK, Intimidation rate does not scale with monster level at all. If you saw 0 intimidations, this would be a pretty good indicator that something is weird about the monsters. Perhaps SE forgot to assign them types (similar to Abyssea NMs)?

    It's also possible that SE specifically nerfed intimidation rates against those monsters. Falkirk/Bookmarku did some Killer Instinct testing and showed that killer potency is only 2/3 of normal against NMs. If they can change it from 1 to 2/3, they can change it from 2/3 to 0.

    So have I been making a mistake, using AF3+2 body in dynamis?! Hmm, anyone else have similar findings that make dynamis nightmare mobs appear not to be part of any monster family?

    I hope I've been getting my +7.5% damage boost from AF3+2 body... if it's true that nightmare mobs are bugged, then it's a pretty serious one that SE needs to look into.

    I farmed Dynamis as BST for around 4months solo every day at the begining of Neo-Dynamis changes, always using Yuly(Vermin) as my pet, my routine was Trees (Plantoids) > Flytraps (Platoids) > Sheep (Beast) and I NEVER saw a single intimidation from Yuly towards Tree/Flytraps or myself, and her dmg was no higher or different than on Sheep. I'm pretty sure, like 99% certain Nightmare mobs are not affected by beast correlation. Same experience with the rare Bubu runs, Yuly never got intimidated by Efts (since Lizards > Vermin) and I never noticed a difference on dmg.

    This would strongly indicate that SE never assigned them types. It may be intentional or it may not, but either way it is pretty unlikely to get fixed.

    AM Down set is going to depend on whether you want to prio your x-hit or capped haste. I just stuck on Haste legs to keep x-hit (but not capped Haste).

    WAR sub you need 21 STP for 6 hit pending on what you WS in.

    I'm at work and can't remember my exact LR Up + Capped Magic Haste sets prior to Rheic +3 so someone else will have to fill you in there.

    I know the new cure formula goes something like power = skill + mnd/2 + vit/4 But how does that all translate into how much you actually cure4 for? is power the same as your actual cure amount? (so 400 skill 100mnd/vit = 475 * 50% cure potency = 712.5?) Are there caps in place?

    How do you get equipment stats out of client side dat files?
    Is there a program that can generate a text dump of all equipment in the dats?

    Get PolUtils, Data Browser > Item Data > English > Armor > Export as XML

    This post shows all the caps and scaling in a vertical format.

    This spreadsheet shows a bit more detail on the progression, as well as a table listing power vs amount cured for all cure spells (Formula Numbers page).
