Had an easy night at the job and was gonna leave at the 6 as opposed to taking a lunch and staying a full 8 or more. Tell the crew if we pick up the pace (I work circles around these people) we can all go early. Our hours are fairly solid so leaving early, especially for those who have class in the morning is nice when it happens. On average we get out around 3am, tonight could have and honestly should have been 12-1ish.

Woman carries on with her lax ways, so when I have to lunch I tell em they're going home when I get back. I just had to fire 3/5 of my crew so not only is it amazing that people would catch themselves not busting ass but also, if you're not working hard I'm taking your hours.

I kinda feel like a jerk but it is what it is...

i'd be sending 80% of my command home if that were the case. i'm one of 3 people that do more than 40 hours, and the only one that average 54 hours in a 4 day span

Why is it that I've had my phone number for more than two years but still constantly (like once every two months), get a phone call or text from a selection of two different groups of people- one being people looking for a girl the other a group who are always just talking in Spanish looking for someone.

The most hilarious case was something I made a post about two years ago;

But I've even gotten a call about 6 months ago from a car dealership talking about a car loan she applied for.

The girl, I assume she's using my number as her go-to fake number she gives to guys, but the car loan one kinda throws that off.

The thing that spurred my to post was that I just got a call from one unknown number, as soon as I said "hello" the phone hung up. thirty seconds later I get a text from a completely different number that says "who's this?" I assume quite safely it was the same person so I replied "could have just asked instead of hanging up."
His reply; "You called me."
Which I didn't. Not even on accident. Both numbers weren't in my phone at all.

I'm so confused D:

Do you live near the border between states and/or area codes? You could have the same number as other people in a different area code and thus get their calls sometimes.
