Summer plans...HELP

Ok so a buddy and I want to do something this summer but literally have no fucking clue what to do. We have thought about road trip, cruise, and other stuff but just can't decide. We're looking to spend about 2-3k~ (1000-1500 each) and I figured I would ask you guys as to maybe something you've done or any ideas. Literally open to any ideas~ Thanks!
