49ers are fucked for the playoffs i hate my lifewe went nearly 2 years staying healthy minus pwillis missing a couple games last year and now we catch the injury bug this late in the season
inb4allyouhaterscauseihateyou
yes our defense is held up by 1 man no longer a secret
You imbeciles forgot this is the week to revisit our amazing, totally accurate predictions! Check them here:
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/112...chuli-Memorial
Last week
M/L: 14-2
ATS: 10-6
Overall
M/L: 152-87-1
ATS: 117-115-8
And since many teams out of playoff contention are sitting guys, and the teams that have clinched home field will treat week 17 like a preseason game, we have three games without lines...
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30TH
1:00pm EST
NY Jets at Buffalo (-3) - Welp, after suffering a concussion after being sacked 11 times last week, Greg McElroy won't be playing in this one. So we all know the only reason to watch will be SPILLER. Bills win and cover.
Carolina at New Orleans (-5) - Since I didn't have Cam Newton on any of my fantasy teams, I slept on the fact that he's had a very solid string of games recently. I think he's out of the sophomore slump doldrums and should be the #1 overall pick in fantasy next season, provided your league doesn't have retarded scoring for QBs like every BG league does. As for New Orleans, I managed to go from hating them last season, to reveling in Bountygate at the beginning of this season, to almost feeling sorry for them now. Fuck you, Goodell. Saints win, Panthers with the points.
Tampa Bay at Atlanta (no spread) - The Falcons have absolutely no reason to try to win this game. They've clinched home field throughout the playoffs, and will in all likelihood rest all their starters after the first few series. But with as bad as JASH has played recently, that should be all they need to get a lead and sit on it. Falcons win.
Chicago at Detroit (+3) - Jim Schwartz is just the worst. The Lions have lost seven straight games, and if they lose here, they'll be winless in the division. Matt Forte practiced today, and with CUTTY doin' it, I fully expect Chicago to roll in this one. Bears win and cover.
Philadelphia at NY Giants (-7) - The Eagles surprised me last week by hanging with Washington until the final drive, and with Vick essentially playing for his career, he might pull off a magical performance. But New York has all the motivation here, and we all know this team plays best with its back against the wall. Either that, or Eli will continue to derp and the defense will get no pressure. I mean, they didn't even get one sack on Flacclol last week! Giants win, Eagles with the points.
Jacksonville at Tennessee (-4.5) - I liked the way the Jags competed with New England last week, but now Cecil Shorts is out, and I honestly couldn't name five offensive players who will be active for this game. Titans win, Jaguars with the points.
Houston at Indianapolis (+6.5) - With Chuck Pagano back in Indy, and home field on the line for Houston, this will probably be the most important game of the week. The Titans beat Indy easily two weeks ago, but that was at home. They've done well on the road though, so that line sounds about right. We'll see how the defense responds after the letdown against Minnesota, who was 9-for-18 on 3rd down against them. The Colts gave up a whopping 352 yards on the ground against Kansas City last week, so Foster should have a field day. I'll take the Texans to win, Colts with the points.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh (no spread) - Cleland hasn't won in Pittsburgh since October 5th, 2003, when Tim Couch out-dueled Tommy Maddox. TIME MACHINE! Old habits die hard, and with Thaddeus Lewis under center for the Browns, God only knows how the offense will look. Read option? Wildcat? Full house backfield with Cribbs? Who gives a shit? Steelers win.
Baltimore at Cincinnati (-2.5) - So Cincy has the final wild card spot locked up, as does Ballmurr with the AFC North crown. Even so, the Ravens have some wiggle room in seeding, so both teams will probably give it their all. Baltimore crushed Cincy back in week 1, and I just think they match up better head-to-head. Ravens in the upset.
4:25pm EST
Arizona at San Francisco (-16.5) - San Fran can still grab a bye with a win and a Green Bay loss. For all the scrutiny Harbaugh suffered when he picked Kaepernick to be the starter, things have gone pretty well. It's hard to put the losses at St. Louis and at Seattle on him, and he was great in New England. But the bottom line is there are Super Bowl expectations in San Fran, and anything less will cause a messy quarterback situation in the off-season. Arizona's QBs are always messy, as they turn to former Patriots great Brian Hoyer in their finale. 49ers win, Cardinals with the points.
Oakland at San Diego (no spread) - I've already talked about the games in which Sanchez, Vick, Henne, Thaddeus motherfucking Lewis, and Brian Hoyer will be auditioning for their careers. Here, we get to see college studs and future reality TV darlings Terrelle Pryor and Matt Leinart suit up for the silver and black. I would take this time to shit on San Diego, but P-Rivs ain't give a fuck.

Chargers win, I guess.
Kansas City at Denver (-16) - Before the season started, I ranked Demaryius Thomas as my 10th wide receiver. I picked him in four of my five leagues. I love Demaryius Thomas, and I'm just happy Peyton Manning does too. Broncos win, Chiefs with the points.
Green Bay at Minnesota (+3) - Minny just dominated Houston, and they get disrespected by being home dogs against an inferior team. Whatever. Peterson makes his push for the MVP here. Vikings in the upset.
Miami at New England (-10) - Well, Miami, we had some good times this year. It started with a subdued yet entertaining enough turn on Hard Knocks, continued with Reggie Bush on my thoroughly mediocre BGE team, and now it finished with a respectable seven wins and signs of life from Ryan Tannehill. Not bad. But New England is gonna sting dey ass. Patriots win and cover.
St. Louis at Seattle (-10.5) - Seattle at home. Seahawks win and cover.
8:20pm EST
Dallas at Washington (-3) -

Screw all my Playoff picks, Hail RG3 all the way.Originally Posted by Judai
btw, getting tired of analysts saying Luck for ROTY. RG3 is better in every pretty much stat but passing yards and "4Q comebacks" which are only a product of Luck throwing 50 bagillion INTs and forcing his team to have to keep throwing and come from behind.. and don't even bring Russ Wil up for that shit. Also, he has a Colts team that went from Super Bowl contender, to complete and utter shit after losing 1 player, back to playoff team with the addition of a competent QB. RG3 battled 20 years of complete shit history to get the Skins here.
