And too note: Fuck SE for making all the Smn seals such a bitch. Head was the only decent one, but SE decided to make all NMs that are #1 for smn be the bitchy one no one wants to fight, so I had to settle for the #2/#3 NMs that apparantly just don't like dropping smn seals. Ever.

I could agree some jobs having worse options than others to farm seals (SCH hands comes to mind, there are others), but SMN?!
Legs: Funereal Apkallu and Tuskertrap are, like, the two easiest legs NMs around? Not like the others are difficult lol... well Flame Skimmer can be annoying I guess.
Feet: Ok, not many options here, basically just Gnawtooth. Bit more annoying than the previous two.
Head: In spite of the fact you said the opposite, I'd rather say if there is a seal that's more annoying to farm among the 3 basic ones, that's gotta be head for me, imho.
Hands: Hands seal nms in general are annoying. Teeke and Bugul Noz are still less annoying than many others.
Body: SMN has some of the best options for body seals. Koios is like... easiest NM ever? And doesn't cost a penny. Ok Gamayun can be annoying, but if you want to spend money you can pop Yaguaroguy as much as you want.

Really, I don't see a problem in general with farming seals, but even if we want to talk about some problems it seems to me SMN has some of the best options for seals farming among jobs.

What should I aim for TP/WS wise with Masamune? Legion gear and rose strap is currently out of my reach (got a lot of rankups to do), but I have phorcys available and I can get neo-salvage gear.

Well if you're on read only and as no one mentioned:
SMN feet seals are easy to get if you have leviathan or bst, just go pull Hrosshvalur which is always up, afk fight providing your prep gear can cover leviathan's cost (i don't play smn, so i don't know anything about that). SMN pets have natural physical damage reduction, right? So with the right regen atma, ducal guard and some DPS atma, leviathan should be able to take it down solo without your input (similar to BST's gooeygerard and natural water resistance; that's how i did it) -- the trick is not to do any action except the initial command as it will shoot a water ball at you (300~600 damage) regardless of pet threat.

Go cook, clean, watch tv, wank, play another game in the meantime.

So I got a pop for Tonberry NM and checked Eihwaz/Shadow ring out abit. Wanted to check Eihwaz alone first but thought getting Shadow ring is comparable easy. That and my survivle instinct triggered.

Out of 140 Death casts from Golden-Tongued Culberry I resisted Death 55 times.
Small sample size but will do some more once I rebuff my warrior abit and get another pop item.

On a second note: The joyous feeling of seeing it start casting Death on me left me with complicated feelings.

How do you start NNI? How do you get access to it?

It involves the complicated process of talking to the npc and getting a mission issued to you. It's exactly the same as original
Nyzul.

Ok but which npc do you talk to? I'm certain its someone in whitegate right? Also do you have to have the original Nyzul completed before doing NNI? I never did get it all done because Abyssea came out and had better gear for BST. I want Phorcys Korazzin though.

NNI is an assault mission. Have you ever done assault? It's exactly like that. Requires tags and everything. The NNI npc is next to the other assault NPCs. No, you don't have to have regular NI complete.

I figured it would be more complicated knowing SE (only thing is getting the Phorcys Korrazin to drop and me being able to lot it) and that's good you don't have to have the original NI done whew, because finding help for that would be nigh impossible these days. I mean I could ask my LS but yeah.

On a second note, I got Twilight mail yesterday. I'm happy as heck about that. I was 1/50 on it. I paid 4 mil for it because I wanted it that badly. lol

Clearing Floor 100 will give you a KI called a Platinum Astrarium. Talk to the NPC next to the one who gives you your NNI assault orders and you can choose any of the 15 NNI pieces, so don't worry about getting it to drop or winning a lot. Just win, and you can pick it up in the Assault office.
