Question regarding ultimate collection digital download

So I'm a new player. I borrowed a copy of the 08 ultimate collection because I wanted to start to install the game and get updates started since I still didn't recieve the digital download link from my preorder yet (assuming tomorrow). My question is more gear towards those that got the abyssea ultimate collection. My question is after the download when running the exe does it bring up a similar menu as that from the 08 collection? For reference the 08 collection has you install each expansion individually from one menu. In which case was it worthwhile to bother to install all the expansions from it in which case I'll be able to install the more resent ones (post wotg and on) individually from the new soa ultimate collector's edition?

The installer brings up tick boxes to pick and choose what expansions (or base game) you install. Worked fine to add to my Steam install.
