I didn't see a thread about this game in gaming discussion, so I figured I would create one for it, since it seems many people have no idea this game even exists atm. Scrolls is made by Mojang, the company that created Minecraft.

As for what type of game it is: it's an online fusion between a CCG like MTG and table-top strategy game (has a game board that you play your creatures/structures on, plus everything you would look for in a traditional CCG like creatures, structures, spells, and enchantments). As the title suggests, the game is currently in open-beta, so there's only 3 different colors of cards out right now, but Mojang has been releasing patches and new cards decently often. Also, there's already a fourth resource type in the works called decay that will most likely be similar to black from MTG, so Mojang seems to be pretty good about making new content for the game for now.
As far as gameplay is concerned, I will just link the about page from the scrolls website, since that will do a much better job of explaining the gameplay than I could: https://scrolls.com/game
If it seems like a game you might be interested in, there's a link on the scrolls site to pick it up for $20 through the Mojang store. Considering you could only get a handful of boosters/1-2 starter decks from a real-life CCG for that cost, it's not too bad imo. Additionally, once you own the game, you can earn all the in-game currency needed to buy boosters and cards to improve your deck without spending any additional money.
Anyways, I just wanted to make this thread in case any strategy/CCG fans out there have been looking for a fresh game to play around with that doesn't cost as much as a real CCG to get good at. Also, if people do end up getting the game, or already play it, I'm more than willing to discuss strategies, deck builds, trades, etc. in this thread.
