    Questions about the triple turn in Tradecraft Leves

    Not sure if this should go in Crafting or not. Mods please feel free to move if needed.

    So, about those levees. I've read a bit about them and they seem to be the bee's knees. Gonna get serious about Crafting this weekend, so I thought I should find out as much as I can first :

    1. Should you always prioritize them over the other possible Levees? Since you get the most bang for your buck out of them and all.

    2. Do you get triple the gil/item reward, or only the XP?

    3. Can you submit a mix of NQ/HQ per 3 items? Or do you need to submit 3 HQ to get the option to deliver more?

    I can confirm that you can submit a mix of NQ and HQ to get the multiple delivery option. Happened today turning in a level 20 tier Weaving leve.

    You can mix NQ and HQ if they are non-stackables. Like gear. But for things that stack it's gotta be all or nothing.

    You get triple xp, gil, and items (if it gives any).

    Prioritize them if they're convenient. 40 durability synths for example are a right pain to HQ, and some synths just have annoying mats in general. Also keep in mind that unlocking the next level tier of leves doesn't obsolete the previous leves.

    Can use a mix of NQ or HQ, all NQ's will also give you a redo.

    If you care about allowances they are the best option.

    You get everything 3 times, but I mostly got shards.

    Also Leves.

    I haven't bothered to do crafting leves yet, but I will. But uh, couldn't you just Split the HQ/NQ stacks however you wanted for this?

    The HQ NQ doesn't matter if you split it. EX: attempt to turn in 12HQ when you have 5 HQ requirement will still only take 5 from it.
    The problem is that it only gives you one slot in the turn in for stacked items. [ ] that you have to put all or nothing of either HQ or NQ. (So if you have 3 HQ and 2 NQ and try to put in both, you keep replacing the one you placed previously. Has to be all 5 in a single slot.)
    Items that don't stack like a deerstalker hat has 3 slots [ ] [ ] [ ] so you can mix/match HQ/NQ.

    That's what they're saying.

    Its worth noting you can leave them open seemingly indefinitely. Turn in 3, get reward, pick to turn in more...always. If for whatever reason you don't want to continue (why????) you can just abandon the leve.

    ^ This, ive had a ARM leve open in Quarrymill for 2 weeks since I took a break to level my WAR to 50. Went back and turned in 2 sets of 3 to finish it up.

    For those leves that allow a mix of NQ and HQ items, do you have to turn in all 3 HQs to get the triple rewards? Not really sure if it's all or nothing, or if you can receive partial bonus for a mix.

    Important thing to note:

    If you do not care about your leve credits (for example, I'm constantly sitting on 99 and don't have many jobs left to level because 1.0), then these are often not worth it. The other leve type just has you turn in one item, which means it's generally faster exp (aside from traveling back and forth from the leve counter) because you end up having to craft fewer items.

    It is per HQ. You get more the more HQ you turn in but can mix and match and still get a sizable bonus.

    HQ bonus is...

    200% * ([# of HQ items]/[total # of items turned in])

    It's really not that hard.

    0/3 HQ gives you +0%
    1/3 HQ gives you +66%
    2/3 HQ gives you +133%
    3/3 HQ gives you +200%

    Just turned some in (circles of hard leather) and I didn't get an option to continue turning them in. Is it only for certain quests?

    It is for the quests that ask for 3 of an item, with a few exceptions (ALC/CUL may ask for more items).
