Kirby Canvas Curse (as above poster mentioned, this game is honestly top tier)
Tetris DS
Megaman ZX
Megaman ZX Advent
Sonic Rush
Sonic Rush Adventure
All 4 Phoenix Wrights
Advance Wars Days of Ruin
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (haven't given Spirit Tracks a try yet)
Kirby Superstar Ultra
Lock's Quest (seriously give this one a try, the last DS game I've bought and it was well worth it)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (contends with Symphony of the Night as best Castlevania in my opinion)
Lunar Knights
Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan 1+2 (Ouendan is the Japanese equivalent, plays the same but different songs etc. Both games are fantastic)
Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story

DS Games I personally enjoyed but may not be for everyone:

The World Ends With You is still the best game I've played on DS so far, and still think of it as the best to this day now.

So I haven't been paying attention for about 5 months to newer DS games, and I'm looking into getting back on the wagon. What games are out now that are OMGAMAZING or even just pretty darn good? I hear good things about the new Zelda game, true or false?

I'm pretty much fine with all games, even JRPG (I'll try them, some are fun, some are...well, Fatlus.)

I feel somewhat obligated to restructure my OP for the sake of clarity. Any suggestions from people beyond what already came up? I'm thinking I'll just try to break it down into genres as best I can based on input now and before.

Urg I hate making a thread for this but it seems there's no random question thread in here, I had a search also and found nothing for what I'm after.

So I just bought a DS lite and got an R4 card with it, so I have been downloading roms like a mother fucker, so I'm just wondering if there's any hidden gems out there as I have got most the games I want atm but I don't really know any good ones as I've never followed the DS releases.

Also how do I get it online? I have a D-LINK DSL-2640R, is that not compatible and which ones are?

Quick note: The R4 curse

1.) you will need patched games that are new. the anti-antipiracy for the R4 is hugely outdated.

2.) you wont play all your games start to finish. curse of having too many games.

Some one told me they crash for no reason at all, but I got it off E-Bay and they guy had formatted it before sending, also I had a browse of the DS recommendation thread and it seems pretty outdated, is there anything that's recent that's a "must get"?
