That AF3 WHM hat, while neat, worries me if it does the exact same thing Yagrush is good for. Still updating, unknown what the next dumb trial is.

Relics of the same type on the same trial can work together, doesn't matter who gets the killshot, you both get the objective completion.

You have to be in exp range of the other person when they get the killshot in order to receive credit.

I can confirm this doesn't work with different relics fighting the same mob type.

As for the same relic but on different trials, more testing is needed. A relic wielder on an earlier trial cannot help another relic wielder with the same relic on a later trial by getting the finishing blow for them.

In the test that I observed, a Spharai monk on the aquan killer trial (which comes before the arcana killer trial) got the finishing blow with Final Heaven on an arcana mob with a Spharai monk who was on the arcana killer trial in the party, and the arcana killer monk didn't receive any credit. The arcana killer monk was JP, so it's possible they didn't understand what we were asking, but I doubt it. Thanks to Vodou for coming out to help test.

It is still very possible it works in reverse though, I.E. someone with a fully upgraded relic might be able to help someone who just finished completing their brand new relic with their trials. This would make sense since someone finishing a dynamis relic when the level cap is 99 wouldn't be as fucked if they have a friend with the same relic who can double their killshots/hour. You could also just help bring someone who's behind in their trials up to speed with you so you can work on the next trial together.

Hmmm and Ragnarok has the most Spharai owners too (going by FFXIAH), but I don't think all are up to speed on trials, probably 3 or so.
Going from 60ws/hour (minimum) to 120 in a team-up would be hot.

It's a nice and welcome change but if you are killing fast enough you will be hard pushed to find a zone with enough mobs close together to sustain both of you without getting in each others way or being in range of the XP. Depending on the relic and mobs it could be awesome but chances are it's more help in the fighting over camp dept I guess. This wont magically make 60 WS/ph goto 120.

Well of course, but I'm biased. Spharai has such a camp in this trial: Ro'Meave (like it needs more people there).

Sky is probably better, once it clears up from everyone going for kindred crests. A lot more pots for blunt bonus, and if you get like alternate/helper chars on brds and rdm and such and you are just mowing like crazy, you're not gonna find a much higher mob density with 5 minute repops than the Despot gauntlet.

From the "trial update" thread it sounds like they have to be on the same trial as you. They did say, though, that the person was jp and may not have understood.
