Sounds good, thanks.
Sounds good, thanks.
Has anyone ever repaired an item to less than 100%? Kinda surprised SE didn't nutkick us there too...
That would be hilarious-- need HQ-repair to get 100%! Patch this in stat S-E
Actually, I was thinking the same thing as soon as I hit 'post'...
"We'll take this to Japan with us!"
Does anyone have a link to a chart with VIT caps per lvl?
Right here.
Though it's probably incomplete... I haven't looked at it in a while.
XI style filters, I want to see when mobs ready/start casting a spell on myself/any ally. I don't want to see damage on anybody except myself. I have all the 'by enemy' shit enabled, but when something is casted/used on someone in my party... i dont get the message in my log. I'd have to select 'on ally', which also shows me the damage afterwards and spams the hell out of your log for aoes.
Is this fucking possible or am I missing something?

1000 seems to be the limit
Also, just verified that the rank-20 Brotherhood faction leve "Operation: Kobold as Ice" is a prerequisite to gain access to the rank-30 "Operation: Supplication Denied" (they are for the same location)
So you have to do that to do the 30? Are the rewards for faction leves random or preset? I have about 5 to choose from right now, but only one actually offers a tangible item. The rest just give me piles of money, so I'm hesitant to burn my points for simply more gil.
Yeah, you have to do the Brotherhood-20 (Bloodshore) for the Brotherhood-30 for the same location to show up. The rewards for faction leves are random, but they appear to be only Onion and damaged gear for upgrading into Vintage. Also, the Brotherhood/Azeyma's ones may reward you with a chest at the end that could possibly also have one of these items in it as well.
I originally prioritized getting the 3 pieces of the Onion set back when I had a ton of classes still at Rank-1 to make us of them... Then went for the occasional dented/moldy/ripped/frayed/etc. stuff that I could wear and eventually want upgraded. I would never spend the faction credits on just a gil reward... and only once I did a faction leve for the generous amount of Pugilist Guild marks that it offered. I think after trading 8 stars for it, I ended up getting ~4900 marks for a Rank-30 Horn and Hand leve.
Upgrading into vintage? I've seen some vintage items around... is that a questline or what?
Edit: Also, wow on that many guild marks. Highest i've sen yet was 2.8k, but my highest rank is only 21.
All of the rank 10~15-ish gear that's "Unique" and prefixed with a adjective like worm-eaten, moldy, moldering, ripped, frayed, cracked, blackened, etc. is something that can be upgraded into the Rank 30+ much nicer Vintage version just through high-rank crafting. I think the recipes are generally rank-40~45ish. No quests involved~
It's just hard for crafters to do a bunch of them because they can only hold one of the base version and only one of the vintage version so they have to sell or trade one before they can make another. (I think?)
Ahhh.. I see. Thank you.
I just noticed something about Guildleves and I'm curious if anyone else has any idea if it has any significance.
I had recently been repeating a lot of the same Humblehearth battle/field leves because of how conveniently near to town it is (and I'm trying to save up faction credits for the upcoming update)... Anyways, I just now looked at the available Battleleves for Humblehearth and I noticed a "Necrologos" leve that I have never seen before now, "Necrologos: In Shadow Bemantled." I also noticed that its border was silver instead of the typical bronze. I looked back through some leves and I found one other leve on me that had a silver border which was "Necrologos: Lords of Skyey Realms" from Cedarwood. I remember specifically that this Lords of Skyey Realms leve didn't show up until after a lot of spamming (perhaps completing all of the) other leves at Cedarwood.
Is it possible that completing all leves of a certain location unlocks an additional leve that may show up? Does anyone have any experience with seeing these silver-border leves while being 100% positive that you haven't done many or all of the leves at its location?
I feel like this may tie in to that whole "completing leves unlocks new leves" thing they mentioned but never went into detail about... and it makes me wonder if I imagined them saying they would implement a completed-quests list in the near future.
You are playing this game Lucaviiiiiiiiiiiiiiii? Blasphemy
