    Itunes massive noob question

    1) Is there a limit on how much the library can handle if you add podcast TV film etc (ex 500gig)

    2) In the categorie movie can I do mini folders inside?

1 - Size on disk really shouldn't matter, since iTunes is really just managing an index. Number of items should no longer be an issue either. Early versions of iTunes had a limit of 32,000 songs, but this was addressed with iTunes 4, and Apple no longer gives a limit. While there likely still is one, it's probably larger than would ever be necessary (I think the next step up if they increased integer size was something between 8 and 9 million items).

2 - You can't customize the Library folders at the top, if that's what you mean. You need to make sure your media is tagged right, in which case you can make a Smart Playlist or whatever for categories.

What is it you're trying to do with iTunes? Unless you "have" to use it because you're buying things through the store or syncing an iDevice, it's really a pretty shitty program.
