check this shit out. The commissary has seriously started wrapping all the bunches of bananas in plastic bags, so you can't break off however many you want. All of them weigh in around 2lbs. while I agree that the detainment of bananas to impede the accumulation of a specific quantity is quite draconian, brown spots means ripe. you can actually eat a banana that is completely brown as it is not spoiled at all.

our exchange is department store-like. commissary is the only place on this particular base to get fresh foodz. i think it was different in CA though. idk, we didn't do that much shopping out there.
