Cataloging video game collections?

Hey all, my video game collection is constantly growing and I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with cataloging them?

Lately I've been using RF Generation's database system to catalog my collection, but unfortunately the database itself is missing many games, some obscure, some not.

Any help at all would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I use RFGeneration myself as well (RFGeneration Profile). If they are missing items, I've usually gone through the process of adding them (Atari 800-era carts/cassettes). I balked at doing the same for Macintosh software, to be honest.

If they are only missing bits and pieces, I'd add them in. Otherwise, there are a few other sites, like RetroCollect (a good site I follow for other reasons, but they seem to offer like RFGeneration) http://www.retrocollect.com/search/t...-tracking.html

I'm not sure how good the Game program is, but I catalog my DVDs using Movie Collector from Collectorz.com: http://www.collectorz.com/

You have to pay separately for the iPhone app to check your collection on the go, but IMO it's worth it.

Yeah Kriz, unfortunately there're quite a few games missing, but I might just add them as a last resort if I can't find anything better.

Thanks for the link Maacha, I just downloaded the trial version and I'm liking it so far, I just might stick with it, although I can't say I'm excited about paying extra for the iPhone app, but I guess it's worth it, since I like being able to check my stuff on the go.

You should check out vgcollect.com. They have a huge database that is updated daily and if things are missing you can instantly add them.
