I liked it, I was pretty stoned but it felt very Kubrikian to me and very heavy on atmosphere. Some cheese here and there and some minor complaints but overall I would watch it again. Not sure why it got such a bad rap..

I thought it was alright too
i have always sucked and will continue to do so
lol
I have it right here and it says 2+hrs that's just too long
for that subject matter I mean we ain't talking planting ideas here
Movie was awesome but the plot itself was weak. Imo play the Daft Punk soundtrack and remove the dialogue for 5 star film.
Well that's what I got from it the most, the drawn out sequences of nothing but music and atmosphere with no dialogue. Reminded me of Kubrick in a lot of ways. Even the bar scene, it was a bit cheesy but total homage to Clockwork Orange.
Also the DP cameo was waaaayyyy drawn out and a bit cheese but very hilarious also. Not sure if that was intentional or what.
I thought the scene where they were kinda like "fuck it" and kept spinning while everyone was fighting at the club, was kinda cool.
Jeff Bridges, Garret Hedlund AND Olivia fucking wilde?
Sounds like one smokin hot movie! Theyre all hot.
Olivias real last name is Cockburn though
ONLY thing that bothered me about the new tron was it was a sequel that really was just a remake (ie, almost all the major "action" events were the same thing: frisbee game, car game) Just with updated special effects (which is what remakes do.
But I fucking loved the old one so I don't mind having a remake. lol
