    The New Version Update Draws Nigh (04/15/2011)

    The next update to FINAL FANTASY XI will be released on Tuesday, May 10.

    The update will introduce new battlefields as well as an original battle system called Voidwatch, which will target high-level adventurers. As part of our ongoing effort to revitalize existing areas, Dynamis will also be overhauled and monster placement modified. To enhance player convenience, all auction houses will be consolidated and the delivery system will be refined as well. Furthermore, the fellow system will see a host of new improvements and jobs will receive adjustments, all in all making for an expansive update.

    Oh man, I'm so excited for this update. They didn't mention it, but I just know that they're going to put an NPC in each city that dispenses stones and warps you to maws so that I can keep my HP in a home city again.

    Alternately, if they put an outpost warp guy in Jeuno, and allowed Storage to be accessible from anywhere, there wouldn't be a need to keep your home point in your home nation.

    I'll pass on that, I don't really give a shit about outpost warps. Port jeuno congestion just rapes me with lag.

    I check about once a day total server population, then port jeuno population... usually about 1/4-1/3 of our serer is in port jeuno
