TV Issues

[Headspace]

So last week I was watching TV normally, then I turn it off to go to class. Three hours later I turn it on and it looks like this:

unnecessarily big image so I linked instead of tagging it.

The lines move around with what the image is supposed to be, and it's not the cable because the inputs act this way as well.

The sound works fine.


Is my TV dying? It's only three years old

It could be possibly dying, or some wire got loose or shorted internally. You sure it isn't the cable? Have you tried a different cable? Have you tried the current cable on another TV? Take the equipment from your satellite/cable box and use it on another TV and vice-versa with the equipment from a second TV. Connect a DVD/VCR/wii/xbox/ps3 see if they work. Try those ideas and see what happens.

EDIT: also, if you don't have the TV connected to a surge protector it possible you fried somthing somewhere, just a thought.
