Few Questions...

Hey guys! I've been trying to find out some information all day, nobody has responded on forums, & the one who did, sent me here...I'm also on my mobile phone, so its been a tad limited.

Anyway-
I played FF11 when it was first released,played for about 3-4 years, then left after all the Sky events... ived been playing MANY different MMO's for the past few years, but I've always missed 11... I've recently been thinking about coming back, but had a few questions I was wondering if anyone could answer for me.

First if all- is the player base still a decent amount? Or is it completely depleted? I don't want to have to constantly struggle to find a group, to do something with...anyone have a player count? Average?

Secondly- is the game available on ps2 still? As well as ps3? I read an article saying only xbox & PC...mind you, I'm on a mobile... so some of the info I'm not able to read and find it all.

Lastly- is the expansion pack available for the sony systems?
& how is the play style different? Is it still fairly similiar to the days when Roc was camped & The Dunes were a mess?

Any help would be appeciated!

You're bound to get eaten for making this post, but:

There are still a lot of people, but most of them have a set of friends they hang out with. I don't know how successful you'll be finding groups to do stuff. Shout stuff happens all the time, but it's as bad a shout stuff has always been.

There are still PS2 players, but I'm not entirely certain the PS2 version is widely available anymore and they're certainly not selling the big-box PS2s or old-version PS3s anymore. You may have to check ebay if you decide to go that route.

The expansion packs are available for all systems.

Playstyle is totally different. No one gives a shit about any of the content you remember. It's Abyssea from Dusk 'til Dawn ... at least until May 10th when we get our next update.
