Radeon HD 6870 - Display glitch in 3D games
Lately I've noticed my video card seems to randomly glitch when I play any type of 3D game on it. When it happens a large portion of the right side of my display is moved to the left, and a small chunk is moved to the right, with a big black bar going down about a third from the right side. I'm wondering if anyone else here has experienced this issue and know how to fix it.
For a quick reference, here's something I threw together in paint as an example of what it looks like:

Thanks in advance.

i'm guessing it's not what you are doing, but i have a good, although retarded, friend who with the same card used the disc that came with it (not sure of the brand) instead of downloading catalyst.... it was like version 8.6 or something, which was released before the 6000 series was even out... installing updated drivers fixed all his problems. but i'm guessing that's not what you did.
