Nobody skis/boards? Or everyone recession broke ?

I should really get into some winter sports. I mean I live right next to Whistler...
I hate getting snow wet though
Copper Mountain, CO in 2 weeks; a group of friends try to go every year. Although, it'll suck a little year this year since one of my best friends can't go cause he tore his ACL in August.. not to mention the snow report doesn't look near as good as last year.
Also, I plan on checking out Angel Fire, NM sometime. I've never been, and I'm not that far from north NM. I will try to go boarding more like at least 3 times a year since I'm pretty close, and I just got a board a few weeks ago. I had previously rented, but fuck that now.
omg, double post cherry popped
If I go, I just go to Tahoe. Still waiting for this alleged storm to come through and actually put some non-artificial snow up there. I have a soft spot for Kirkwood. <3 The Wall.
New York is having a shit season and am just waiting for just ONE good snow get this season started off righ!
I have a season pass to our little slopes here outside of Cincy so I'll be there most days. The roommate and I might hit Snowshoe for a weekend and maybe some place out west in feb/march but not sure about that yet.
Last year was CO, this year it'll be Tahoe.
Just bought some custom boots - custom liner/orthodic/shell - can't wait to get some snow
Just went to ShigaKogen, Japan. Very nice
I'd really like to head on over to Tahoe but I'll probably just stay local and go up to Big Bear.
Doing Killington and either CO UT or NV if I'm lucky.
I usually get season passes to Mountain Creek in vernon NJ, and windham/hunter ny, but season is meh.
So far it's been warm as fuck in Pennsyltucky.
I'm sure I'll hit up something or other in the Poconos at least once (JFBB or Camelback, most likely), I want to hike out to Elk at least once, and get up north to VT and out west to CO/UT at least once.
I've got friends near Denver, and family right in Killington, so now all I need is the snow and a little time off in my work schedule to make it happen.
Goin to Whistler/Blackcomb for the first time ever in Feb for my honeymoon :D Fiance has a GoPro HD Hero 2 so lookin forwrd to gettin some epic footage on that. I'm not that good but hes great so it'll be me filiming a lot prolly![]()
Don't come up here yet. It is miserable and warm. We had record highs yesterday and the day before with no end in sight. Going to be in the low to mid 50's all week and it this is in the Reno area, right now it is an inversion so it is even warmer up on the mountains. It really sucks and hopefully the winter will pick up eventually. If it does start snowing eventually I will be up at Mount Rose since it is only about a 20 minute drive from my house.
So far I have been to Snoqualmie (lol...) and Crystal Mountain (yay). I'll be in Tahoe Jan 13-16. I really hope I make it up to Whistler. Other than that I will prob. just bum around Baker/Crystal/Stevens/Snoqualmie since it's close for night-boarding, and maybe Mission Ridge (my old stomping grounds as a kid).
First video from this week, I got back late last night.
Yeah don't go to Tahoe. Just got back today. The whole landscape was bare and dry, and looked like it was more like late spring (April, May)...only manufactured snow, 25% of the runs were open. Oh and they're charging full price. I just stayed in town and played at Harrah's lol.
Yeah we just got 2" of snow last night WOOO! only 22" to go until the ski areas can open most of their runs.
