Help needed!

I turned on my computer this morning and it was perfectly fine. 5 hours later when I come back home, it freaks out and my entire screen is too blue. Then it switches from too blue to too red. Any advice on how to fix this? I already tried changing my monitor to factory settings and it did not help. I also went into the menu options on my monitor and the menu options are in fine color. Thanks in advance.

Check your cabling? Usually that's a result of some pins not making proper contact. Do others have access to the PC that might have installed a "night vision" utility (like Nocturne for OS X) on it?

Bump: New problem. My computer keeps freezing on me at random points. Not random slowing down then back to normal in a few minutes. I mean can't even move my mouse pointer freezing. Any suggestions?

I'd run a Checkdisk, do a RAM check (several on http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ as an easy go-to), make sure all your hardware is seated, etc.

Make sure your fans are all spinning, vents aren't blocked/etc to rule out heat.

Possibly check drivers out - if you upgraded some recently, you may want to revert them back. Occasionally you can run into things that seem random, but are actually a consistent problem - devices dropping to low power mode in the background for example. I've personally had more trouble with wireless cards than anything else in that regard.
