You Want Pray Another Game? (Video Game Music Challenge w/ Steam Game Prize)

As with the previous challenge, I'm going to list 15 clips (20s-45 seconds each) from video game songs. Whoever sends me the most correct answers in a PM (Game Name + Song Title) shall be declared the winner! There is no minimum for correct answers, but there is a maximum of 3 PMs per person! ! I can also gift the game to someone else on your behalf if you won't use it (will not gift to disqualified people).


The game currently up for grabs this time is Awesomenauts.



As an added bonus, if someone submits a response that correctly answers at least 12 of the 15 songs of the songs I have listed by 8/21/2012 23:59:59 CST, I will also give them a $10 or under Steam Goodies, in addition to either Minecraft (PC) OR Awesonauts.

If someone submits 12-15 correct answers AFTER the Awesomenauts & Minecraft Combo contest ends (8/20/2012 23:59:59 CST), then the winner that submits their 12-15 answers by 8/21/2012 23:59:59 CST will win EITHER $10 in Steam Goodies OR Minecraft, not both.



A few rules:

1.) Guesses can be posted in this thread, but final answers (no minimum) MUST be PM'd to me to be declared the winner (Do not PM me your guesses. Answers only). Keep in mind that if you happen to be wrong on a few of your guesses, other posters can hijack your answers for their own gain.

2.) I may occasionally chime in to mention if you are correct or incorrect, but I will not tell you which of your guesses specifically are right or wrong.

3.) All song clips can are from various platforms. Game Boy, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, PS1 and Gamecube.

4.) Maximum of 3 PMs per person. Any more will disqualify you.

5.) Awesomenauts & Minecraft + Steam Goodies Contest ends 8/20/2012 23:59:59 CST. Minecraft OR Steam Reward contest ends 8/21/2012 23:59:59 CST.

6.) New accounts made during August 2012 and/or have less than 100 posts are not eligible to win.

7.) Accuracy counts. If you list something as a Sega Genesis title, but the track is from the Super Nintendo version, then it's incorrect.

figured this would be worth a go but i don't recognize a single tune in there save for track 8, which is the only one can pinpoint exactly. second to last sounds like it would be from an original gameboy castlevania title, but that's just a blind guess haha.

#12 sounds like SNES version of Earthworm Jim 1, because it's fucking terrible compared to the CD copy I got on PC, and I don't recall Genesis having a non-Sega CD release.

Absolutely no god damn clue on the rest though, which is annoying me. A few of them sound familiar, or could fit in games I know of, but nothing else I can confirm.

Nuts, the first one was so fun, wonder why this didn't take off as well. Really had no idea about all but 1 song with just a few others being familiar but not quite enough to start hunting.

The songs chosen were common songs, but from underplayed games I suppose. I didn't even get a single PM for Awesomenauts (which is all it would've taken to win the game), but that particular giveaway is over now


Maybe I should've posted entire songs instead of clips, or just kept the same formula from last time with easy songs from well known games.
