I know BG has a lot of users from a variety of backgrounds so I thought this would be a place to ask for some help.
About 7-8 months ago I was at work carrying about 5lbs down some stairs when I heard and felt a pop in my right knee. I had mild-moderate pain when walking and sitting down/standing up but that was only on the outside portion of my knee. I went home, iced it and took some aspirin. My knee was tender with some mild-moderate pain sitting down and standing up for about a couple weeks.
For 6 months after that the pain was slight if at all but recently I've been having more and more pain when I use my right leg to carry the majority of my weight. Walking is not an issue although running causes some discomfort. Every time I use my right leg to push myself to a standing position or let my right leg carry the majority of my weight while sitting. I have moderate-high pain to the outside of the kneecap. The pain is concentrated to one spot and does not move.
I plan on going and having an MRI/X-ray done this week, I'm just wondering if these symptoms are common for any specific injuries or tendonitis/arthritis.
