Well the biggest problem with disbelieving this is Operation Plumbbob. It's when the US decided to simulate what they would do in the event of russia staging a nuclear attack via actually setting off a nuke and having soldiers fight while bathed in radiation.

That one picture looks like it has a diamond shaped route marker on the exit sign, which would be Michigan. (assuming those pictures are somewhat in the area)

As someone that is from Northern Indiana, I have heard nothing all day about it and the media doesn't seem to be saying anything either.

Haven't heard anything about this. My first thought would be temperature inversion, which isn't a concern, not really anyway. I suppose if it was a really bad one... not that you'd be able to do anything about it regardless.

I don't know much about cosmic phenomena outside of that related to cosmic radiation, solar wind, and cosmic radiation induced nuclear reactions; so I can't really elaborate or comment on that. Summon Woozie or Miz.
