Kingdoms of Amalur Flickering Problem

So I've recently been having a problem with my Kingdoms game. A couple of days ago, I opened the main menu and it sort of flickered in. I dunno, kind of like a really shitty fade-in from black. While I'm playing, if I open the inventory or any other kind of menu, the screen gets dark again. It goes back to normal once I start playing again, but it's really fucking annoying and I'd like to know how to fix it if anyone has any ideas.

What platform? Quick research on Google doesn't show any glaring issues of this type, but PC has had a few odd menu bugs iirc.
