I wanted to share with yall the audio of the benefit show that was put on for my close friend and drummer that was killed in an automobile accident a couple months ago. Some great live rock musics... all these bands were Chances (he played in 4 diff bands). My band is songs 19-25. I sing on 21 and 24... Our drummer for the night is actually a bass player/guitar player (opened show), who has never played infront of audience before, just a close friend of ours and Chances, he held his own IMO. The whole thing is pretty stellar, the other bands have pro ass drummers, and are just all around on point.

I can't even imagine going through all that at once, and right after each other. I saw you post and was glad you had popped back in for a bit, so know that we notice when you're gone, but I hope these tough times become somehow manageable sooner than later

Forgot to mention that crazy fucking storm came through and tore the fuck out of Roanoke. Knocked out power in every bar but the one we were playing in... chills.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Wouldn't wish any of that on my worst enemy, let alone you. It's hard to really get feelings across on the net, wish I could give you a hug and tell you that you've got a good head on your shoulders and you're going to get through this.

Didn't get a chance to listen to all the tracks, have to get around to that later, but what I heard was really solid.

I'm really fucking sorry, Day, I feel terrible for you. I don't know you personally but have friends that do and get the sense you are a really decent guy. I lost a parent in December and all I can say are things you've probably heard a hundred times already, but the best thing I think you can do is talk to the people you're closest to and try to let all of it out. That might seem and turn out to be really hard, but when you need to talk the best possible thing you can do is find someone and tell them what you need. I waited and was just lucky enough to have a family that drew it out of me. As long as you are there for your family and your family and friends are there for you, you can get through this. A loss as big as this has a way of really shocking a person as to who and how much their loved ones are there for them and I hope you're experiencing that. You sound like you're doing as well as can be expected so I hope keep your head up.

And for what it's worth, track 21 sounds really good. I imagine with all of this that must've been hard to do.

Forget that, I'm down to get under the covers. Sincerest condolences Day, there's obviously not a whole ton that people like us can say to set things right, but we're here to talk whenever. There's nothing that is going to make things easy, but I hope that you and your family get delivered through this as well as is possible under the circumstances.

Love you guys <3 Your words mean more than you'd think. I'm doing alright... my mom was a strong ass woman, and she raised me to be just as strong, but nothing quite prepares you for this kind of doubled up loss.
